rock slider's/mini boat side
well I have some time off and some spare metal some tube and a new to me welder heres what i've done so far.
before
stiffener before install
installed
tied the front spring mount to the slider
mock up of slider
installed, pretty much same still have to weld it to the door sill plate
little bit of a slider its 1 inch solid stock on this the rest was like 2 inch salvaged pipe from work.
thats where it is for now gotta find some flooring material and figure out which seats i'm going to put in, let me know what you think.

thats what happens when a jeep spends it's hole life in the rust belt. it's not even as bad as some of the others that are around, also thats one of the main reasons for the rock slider mini boatsides. We don't realy have rocks to get hung up on where i live. snow or mud thats about all we got.

Just some advice on the rub bars.
You need some more support back to the inner tube.
By bars are supported at the end and 2 places in between, I still bent the hell out of them.
The full weight of the rig on that bar and it will bend.
Looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Little bit of an update
Mock up of floor pan. That one is mostly done at this point sorry no pic of it with a bunch of spot welds on it.
New lower door skins. they won't win any show and shines, but they are way better than a **** ton of rust.
thinking of moving my spring mounts here. Not fully commited yet but the front and rear hanger are in pretty tough shape. Everything is just mocked up for now. gotta get to the other side and put the stiffener on and then see how it looks with the springs under the frame on both sides before I commit either way.
Somewhere near where ride height will be i think it will come down some when i do the other side if not i can take out some leafs.

ya i have to plate the inside anyways its a little wide for the springs, and i figured it will make it a little stronger as well i was hoping to keep both holes for adjustability but i didn't make it big enough to use the higher hole.

no wire no problem still got torches and a big stick welder. decided rather than sit in the house or clean garage i'd atleast get the bumper made can't mount it till i do the other side but i can get that out of the way.

A little bit of an update here went out yesterday and didn't do anything for my jeep besides clean its house
8 am tuesday
about 10 the same day
well the floor was so bad in the rear i had to do this
then i started to do this to fix the rust
also this poor kid ran out of oxy for the torches so it was no fun burning up two dollar cut off wheels left and right to get all the cuts. i think i need a brake and a sheer.
