Default Refinishing rear sound bar to be covered in stickers

So the material on the sound bar in my 1996 xj was falling off and i just bought new speakers so I decided I am going to take it off and refinish it. I've decided that I want to sticker bomb the sound bar so I have bought stickers and just took out the sound bar. I already took off the material but now I am working on Sanding off all of the foam on the bar.

If you paint it white and then put the stickers, it will look RAWW. Kinda like this
