i was wondering about yalls rear seats has any put boat seat in the back of your jeep cause i'm planning on putting some in so i can run 4 point harnness to keep my passengers planted while i'm wheeling cause i always manage to have a jeep full of poeple with me cause i have tried to put full size buckets in her and with no luck i caint sit back there with my head hitting the roof and i'm only 5'8

 

a friend of mine put buckets on the back,, you just have to remove the piece of metal that is standing up,, and make a lower base for it... and you have head space but not that much leg....

thanks for that photo kellan thats kinda what i had in mind but i'm really tring to get like to boat seats so i can make them slide back cause there aint much leg space back there as it is with the stock seat thankx again for the advice you guys

 

Either make passengers get out at obstacles, bypass them, or spend some bucks. keep in mind.. the xj rear seat room sucks under normal situations.. so I cant imagine it getting any better with properly mounted suspension seats and shoulder bars to mount harnesses.

 

i was planing on building my cage this winter and puting 4 points front and rear so that i don't have to let people out when i do stuff and i was wanting to get something a little more planting instead of the bench seat
