Default Rear bumper and tire carrier

I made a bumper for my XJ to finally have some good recovery points out back and somewhere to carry my spare

The bumper is 2x6 3/16 steel with 3/16 steel plate for the ends the swing arm for the carrier is 2x2 3/16 with a comp4x4 double shear hinge and a latch and gas strut from amazon, there is a poly block for the arm to rest on horizontally on the latch side and another behind it.

Good job.Did you not add mounts for the factory bolt locations? I just welded angle iron on both sides of the post that runs inside the frame rails. 8 more bolts to hold it on there.I'm on my phone app I can't see the pics good.

No I didn't I was going to and probably still can but the nuts that are there and the metal that holds them isn't exactly very structural on this jeep anymore due to the rust haha
