Default READ THIS!

I decided to post this thread since 90% of the people posting threads in the fab section seem to be ignoring this:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f58/re...changes-58485/

Do the mods and all your fellow cherokee forum members a favor and READ THE STICKIES at the top of every section. They're there for a reason.

Thanks
-Zach

.....I did. But nobody reads the stickies at the top of a section so they don't pay attention to it. Hopefully this thread will make people aware of the changes to the fab section. If it does that, this thread will have served its purpose AND reduced the amount of improperly posted threads.

I think people only read what they want to read.
We could put bells and whistles with flashing lights on the stickys and they still would not get read.

Just my .02

fab section is for the fabbing!!! real hard to figure out for some ppl. question go in the cherokee chat, showing off your parts should be tech, and showing off your jeep goes in build. why so hard to figure out!

OK I read it. I don't think that the shot gun approach to trying to correct something is always the good way to go about it. Moderators closing the tread and PMing the person might work IMHO.

I think they should change the name of this section from just "fabrication" to "show what you have fabricated". and then off topic threads dealt with as skipper has suggested.

well at first it was probably just easier to keep thread names short and sweet. skipper's idea sounds good to me. but i think it depends on how off topic the thread is. f.e. i've been seeing a clothing advert. one on fab a lot recently shotgun that, but at the same time ppl that just misplaced the thread move it and give them a short lecture on rules and where the thread was moved to.
