Plasti-coat ?
Anyone heard about this stuff and if so how tough is it.. Im thinking about using it to black out my rims.. if I posted In wrong section move it

I have heard of it and wouldn't use it on wheels. If you want a durable coating you should look into rustoleum's truck bed coating. It's what I have on my floor and my rims along with bumper and trim soon. I love the stuff! It's durable as s*** but isn't as aggressive as other bedliner brands.

I used Plasti-Dip on my grill, headlight bezels, bumpers and fender flares. It isn't durable per-say because you can peel it right off, but I did it so that I could see how I liked those areas painted flat black and I can do it permanently if I so desire. I would suggest using it first, then if you like it go for a more permanent solution.
