Default New front bumper :D

I'm gonna show ya guys what I did with out giving it all away....I used 3/16 4x3 rectangle stock laid out the design

Decided to go with a 30o bend

capped the ends to be parallel to the body lines rather than sticking way out there

Attached the front radiator guard 2" tube 1/8
Did it to where it's about 3" above the hood I don't hasn't a stinger at the same time didn't want a light bar ha

Used some scrap to make this to hold my hummer recovery d hook

More weld work can't even tell there was a 1/4 gap on the lower section

Mock up!!! Looks damn purdy ...like how I used the ok bumper to mock it up? Lol


Next gotta build the tabs to mount it gonna use the three bolts of the steering box to strengthen the steering as well as the stock bumper holes

i would make the mounts go back to the tow hook holes.

Damn do they even make d rings to fit your tow points? nice bumper though.

Yea I pulled hummer d rings I created the spacing to fit perfectly to them and I'm going to use stainless steel rod as pins

Looks alright. I wish you had angled the original hoop a little more but that's personal preference, I suppose.

Too far out looked goofy to me but if we start making these for people we can do all sorts of variations the cool thing about metal is you can cut and reweld

That's not what I meant. I ment more of a V and less of a U. I like that you put the flat part at the top. So it's needs to be more like a skanky "U".
