Default my zero cost non welded roof rack

i built this roof rack with free materials i was given

i used approximately 40 feet of unistrut, i believe its called... and a 4x8 sheet of expanded metal

it is all put together with nuts and bolts....
i still have to put a couple more bolts on the expanded metal and paint it, but its nearly finished

i may change how its mounted in the future but for now it works well and is pretty stout

plus by using the unistrut i have multiple strapping points

Aluminum would have been nice but its not...its not bad I can get it on an off by myself without any problems

If you want to clean up the corners you could weld some sheet metal on to close the ends of the tubes.

You got some rubber inserts for the ends at jobs depot for a couple bucks

Yeah but the whole point was to do it without welding....not to worried about capping off the ends thou
