Default my take on tube fenders

Alright so I did this a few weeks ago and just wanted to see what you all thought. I'm in the process of making a tube bender, so for these I just used my notcher and made the 90* corners. If I end up re-doing them ill use a tube bender for sure though. The material is 1x.089 tubing and 18ga sheet I think. So what do ya think?

A little worried about the front catching trees. But overall you did a good job.

I was worried about that too, but once I get the 33's I'm sure those will stick out further then the flares, so if I do get in a situation, the tire should hit first. But if it rips my fender, just an.excuse to make gen 2!

I think they'll look good if they're finished up and the pipe capped. Should have picked up a cheap tube notcher and ran through with the outter piece imo.

Can we get a front shot?

Interesting.. think you would have been better served welding the tubes to a plate.. then to the inner fender. Would have spread the stree of the inner fender getting smacked into something over a larger area.

no offense at all but you cut those fenders way too high, you should have kept them flush with the grill. Right now it looks like you are trying to fake a lift and when you get a lift its just gonna look trashy.

a side note haha gen 2 is always availible and the jy is full of fenders

how do they look now with a lift and bigger tires? Anything lower than that and I wouldn't be able to flex all the way, so I love them! I'm making a set this summer that is rounded though
