they really arent that hard for those of you asking to do a write up. i just made a card board teemplate until i liked the look and started cutting peoces. weld em up. drill ur holes. wire the lights, bottom as blinker and top as brake, that way they all come on as tail lights. reverse lights bolted thru the rear bumper. i'll get a pic tomorrow

what size metal did you use for yours then? im thinking it would be more difficult if one would use much less than 11 gage. i have some 1/8 that i plan to make mine out of but built into the side protection. my winter project

i really cant remember the thickness because mine to was free, left over from a flat bed we made about a month ago. it was diamond plate and i put the "diamond" side in so its just flat.

Being diamond plate its probably anywhere from 14 gauge (5/64") to 11 gauge (1/8")... So id say that stuff will be about impossible to bend and make a box out of like i did mine, but you could cut sides and back, weld it all together and smooth it down and never be able to tell that it wasnt pressed into shape.

those are great looking boxs. Did you use stainless? I have been pondering that very fab, but havnt decided what type of metal to use. I found some awsome LED's that would look very nice when i do it.
