A buddy gave me the idea then I searched and couldn't find anything. So I ran with the idea. Most I have seen follow the wheel opening or bigger if Fenders are trimmed but still follow the wheel opening. What I did is cut the fender that was cut pretty good and finished the job off by going straight the the corner lights.
List of what I used: lawn edging donated by a friend 1"x1" aluminum angle in 8' stick Self tappers And 1/8" rivets What my fenders looked like Attachment 254706 Have a cut off wheel Attachment 254707 This step I didnt get pics but I cut the angle in to lengths a long on the follow the long straight of the fender and smaller length to fit half way down the down turn of the fender and one more smaller length at the bottom of the fender. Mounted the lengths to the fender with self tappers on the in side of the fender. Then riveted the edging to the angle Can get pic if anyone wants to see. Finished results Back one are normal just went to the body line cause I plan on cut and fold the rear quarters. |

Here is some better most recent pictures of how my flat fender flares came out. Im still undecided about the rear flairs I might find some wrangler flairs for the rear as I think they will look better with the front flairs. But im undecided right now.
