ok i blew up the motor in ym cherokee and need to swap something in. i would like to put a small block dodge in it but whatever will go in teh easiest i will do that. its a off road truck so it will jsut be carbed motor thanks

 

ive always wanted to put a 5.9 ram motor in a grand cherokee they had them in 98, should be pretty easy too cuz the 5.2's i think are identical

 

The 5.9 in the 98 ZJ has slightly more power then the other 5.9s (durango/ram/dakota) and they also require Premium Unleaded fuel.

Carb? why carb? Carbs suck *** for offroad use..

 

so i take it that an older small block mopar will bolt to the trans? i wanta carb motor so I can make it run, i dont have to rely on a computer, if you ahve the right carb and have it tuned it wont slosh out till its on the vehicle is on its top.

 

crappy thing about carb motors is stalling on a hill or something and flooding itself.. then with that comes other issues too.. keep it fuel injected.. you will wish you did.. just saying
