Modified factory front skid plate.....
I picked up this beauty in stock form from the local junkyard for $12, I believe. When I held it in place on my XJ, it seemed like was going to have steering clearance issues and I thought it looked really plain anyways. So, I broke out a Sharpie and my plasma cutter.....this is what happened....
I have a few more tricks up my sleeve to beef this thing up a bit...update you later....

Bring the bandaids with you on the trail cause those things look super sharp. Hope you don't need to do any repairs or you'll be pulling that baby off. Flames cut out would have been cool, painted it red, orange and white to look realistic. I've been watching too much Overhaulin'. lol!

Some more welding madness....Yeah, I know I'm going to get it from the purists..."function over form" or whatever. Hey, I like my rig to look p@ssed off when I'm breaking things...

Now that's pretty sharp lookin' (no pun intended haha)
I have to say you're pretty creative and your fab skills far exceed mine so kudos to you.
Forget all that function or form crap. Just tell people your Jeep functions just fine on the trails.
Or just tell them it's the Bat-shield.

Yep....still serves it's purpose just fine. Now it just looks mean as hell while doing so..
And I know my welds aren't that pretty but I'm not a welder.
