I did the same thing... granted i could never find a scale model of an XJ, i found a model of my first car.wheeler. a 92 ford explorer! So i took the bottom off and made myself a BS suspension at my old sheet metal job and some wheels i found on ebay for 10 bucks !

Heres my mini XJ, SCX-10 with a Pro-line Cherokee body.

Yep all of yall just inspired me to try and talk the wifey into letting my buy a scx-10 as well..Although parts for that aren't much cheaper then my jeeps parts..lol
