so dose anybody have a box tht is made out of steel or alum tht sitts against the back of ur back seat tht opens up to get to ur tools and stuff,, i was thinking of fabing one up but making it so tht i could put a gas can on each side if u know of one let me know... heres wht it will sort of look like but thts out of a tj or something and against the tailgate flip it around and put it against ur back seat and uv got a handy lil box for tools ect tht are out of the way build some shelfs in ther or devide it and uv got ur mobile tool box..

I've never seen any thing like that for an XJ. But it is a sweet idea. I'm thinking about making something like that myself.

 

one guy made a floor over the whole cargo space w/ the seats out and the pocket where the floor dips down made a nice tool box... just a thought

Yeah i remember seeing that a while back. It is an awesome idea.

 

yeah mines my DD and i need the back seat for my stuff dogs,, friends, ect. and my sub boxes would interfere with a drawer.. and i still need to be able to fit me ice fishing gear and ect in the back.so with an angles box it could be tilted and set on top also if i did tht it would give me alil more room...

 

iv got those same seat covers in camo.. and thts a sick looking floor in tht xj.. always an option later i gusse...

yeah my back seat and front seats have the pouches and stuff on them so i just need more room in the back lol

tractor supply has quite a varity of diff types of boxes , i almost bought one the other day for mine , but im gonna wait because i designing a whole storage system in the back of mine , check em out if you have a store near you and there cheap too

 

yeah im the guy tht thinks in his sleep about wht he wants to build then builds it and im too broke to buy a box and iv got a $200 box tht i had givin to me tht got hit with a tractor tht isnt in tht bad of shape but im cutting it up for toe kixks first.

 

Do you think that would fit on the back seat of a 2000 xj
