you can wrap the tubes with some foam for air conditioning or something like that for prtotection of the window.
and the CUERVO you should wrap it with some thermal and UV protection you wont like it warm trust me

Personally the idea of having them up high like that reaks of projectile to me. At least face them the other direction and do some serious over building to make sure they are not coming loose in a frontal collision...

Ok now people are just trying to find things wrong with everything, you ask for a little input and everyone goes all negative. first of all, they are going to be secured with SS clamps and I would keep a flat head back there to remove them, second, the reason I have the fire extinguisher head pointing forward is because that is the weak point of the bottle is the nozzle. this fire exinguisher is only 100 psi so It shouldnt go projectile, maybe slighlty move if the head was broken off.

C_knda: I'm actually going to install a large cooler there now, and I have to find a hot girl to secure there aswell to be my bartender

maybe on a 200milles frontal colition it come loose and hit your dead head

the cooler idea it is great and the hot girl been projectiled to the front is better.

haha ya! we can only hope! the only way I gould get in a 200 mile an hour head on collision is if there was a ferari going 115 hit me. my jeep is awesome, 0-85 in 74 seconds! beat that.

did you read that back bench seat fab thread? what do you think about that? I have no Idea what the inside of the rear seat looks like at all

Troth -
What you came up with is almost exactly as I thought for my XJ. There is an easy solution to all the comments about your glass blowing out or cracking.......Lexan! What I am doing is taking out the factory glass on both sides and using Lexan in the same thickness. It has ballistic properties, so unless you plan on shooting at it, you are not going to shatter it. Just a thought!

BTW...something to think about for tie down......

You can find them for less money, but just using this link to show you them.

i like it , i would screw in a small peic of angle in front and behind it so theres no chance of it sliding out of the straps

im not worried about it, there was rubber on the inside of the straps and they are TIGHT. I yanked and shoved on it for a while
