Very nice write up! I been seriously thinkin on doing my own beadlocks. Too bad i aint got a friend with a water jet lol Oh and also, the inner ring, doesnt look as if the bolt holes are threaded ?..

the inners are not threaded its a nut and bolt system

i thought i knew how these went to gether but it doesn;t look like you cut the outer lip of the rim or do you not have to? just grind the paint doen and weld to it?

you dont have to it sits just inside of it and leaves the perfect weld gap between the wheel lip and the rig hints the pennies he used as spacers

and yes all you do is grind the paint away and weld them in this needs to be air tight though or you will be airing your tires often

alright thanks i thought the outer lip needed to be cut off then reweld the inner ring, sounds easy enough....added to the list of things to purchase lol

Where's the best place to get DIY Beadlocks? I know ballistic fab & ruff stuff has em, but id like to see a place that offers more designs.

Look up Spyderlocks they look just like them but are aluminum and 300 bucks each.

Nice write up. Wanted to do the same thing but have no cnc or water jet. Could use my plasma and a drill press but I would be at it a while. So the ? I can't believe no one asked but haw much for the inner and outer rings for 5 15" rims?
