great job. I really like how you fabbed up the main mounts and eliminated the OE track mounts. Sturdy and reliable. very nice!!

Alright, well i will try my best to post the files, are you looking for the part files or the drawings, Part Files are in .IPT, and Drawings are in .DWG (Autodesk Inventor 2011).

Im not sure if an newer version of the files will open in an older version of Autodesk, but its worth a try i guess, haha.....

Thanks to everyone else and there positive feedback, I have bought the KC lights and are going to start wiring it up sometime this week. So ill post more pictures later.....

Thanks man. Me and my dad worked on it. Hes the most experienced welder, I'm the finish grinder. As long as you can weld the metal in. You can always grind it down. That's how the roof rack turned out. Just a thought... haha.

Good question, i myself liked the idea of having it mounted to the stock cargo rack mounts. Plus i found that some people who mounted theres to the gutter had damage to the gutters (paint peeling, scuffing, and bending). I just figured that if i ever was to sell the Jeep then i didn't want the gutters to be torn up, thus the way it is mounted now was the best way to go.

I cant say that the way i did it was easy, but i like it, but in my experience, any who is wanting to make there own should go with gutter mounts because it is SO much easier.....

Just a thought........

You should build a rack but with the stock roof rack sliders, that way you could slide your rack off instead of taking all those bolts out
