looks like its a pretty good design. Although i would be carefull doing any hard tugs. I cant tell how many bolts are holding it in. It might bent and tear the frame. But hey i could be wrong. Loogs tho!

The more i think about it, the more i wanna ask. How big is that tow point? Looks kinda small, like a winch lead and tow cable wont firmly lock into it. But the photo can be decieving. JW

Tie it in a little more by using the tow hitch bolt area too. This looks like it will hold up well, but if you really get stuck, it might bend/break those bumper mounts, but still looks cool

Hmmm once I know how it's secured I'll pass strength judgment, but it does look pretty different from what I've seen, in a good way.

X2 I would tie it into the hitch bolt holes, also probly add some gussets were the round stock meets with the flat stock. Looks good

As long as that horizontal bar is, I'd think with a good hard tug you may slightly bend it. I could be wrong, though, pics are hard to judge.

I like the idea. However, from the pictures it looks like if you tried to use it as a recovery point, it would bend. With as long as it is, and as far between the mounting points. Could be wrong though.

My thought exactly. Even 1" solid bar will bend.

is that the stock bumper or a heavy steel bumper. If it is heavy steel run a couple bars from the bumper to the rod about 6 inches from the hook point.
