Quote: Installed a custom switch panel over the pointless little cubby under the glovebox. Got switches on there for my aux engine bay cooling, winch and an "Electric aerial isolator" so that I can listen to CD's while in tight woody areas and not worry about breaking my radio mast off. Its got all the aux wiring and relays for my roof lights behind the panel, and also the power supplies for my GPS and TomTom. I made the panel out of ply and covered it with a piece of leather that I had hanging around. Even stuck an old Jeep badge on.

Also, printed out a set of white backgrounds for my dash....

i like that switch panel idea. verryyy naaaiiiccee

heres one of my many:

What did you paint that with? Is it just black paint or is it like the rubber coating paint?
Thanks

Spray, I dont remember the brand. I'm sure any brand would work. Yeah the Auto store had it along with other colors. I think walmart might even carry something similar.

Nice to see someone else that has stock bumpers with no rubber end cap things. I did the same thing with mine and will soon get rid of the fender flare things just like that.

Its great to see a picture of it done so I know about what It will look like!

Quote: x2, im rather baffled at how good the rhino lining looks....i just feel like it SHOULD look like garbage. I am totally digging this (only cuz i lik this smiley)
Quote: Ya nice work is it roll on or spray??? I'm planing on doing the roll on to my whole jeep how much did it run you???
Quote: That's a very cool idea of putting rhino liner and get rid of paint problems...
And it adds toughness to your jeep...
Thanks for the compliments guys! My original black paint job was going bad and I had seen this done to some hunting trucks. And since I hunt I thought why not. Its a spray on, Off brand of rhino-line under the name of Eagle. Cost me 600.00 but that was because my buddy has a shop that sprays truck beds otherwise it would have been about 2500.00, thats what he told me anyways.

it was pretty easy to do, unlike most people i didn't take the seat belts off, i just kinda slid the plastic panels behind them down. to remove the foam i used my vacuum and then used a pad that came with a bed liner kit.
to attach the new stuff i used 3m spray adhesive i think it is called something like 77 super? then used tacky glue on the back/edges. al in all an easy job that just took some time and patience.
