I know they make new inlet pipes for just under 8 bucks but its not worth all the work to install it when you can simply make and install a brass one in minutes
When I did mine I was in a time crunch so I had to get something working asap... no time to wait for parts. Now that it's done I actually like I better than stock.

Default rear bumper

Right now the brackets and metal in my rear bumper are rusted out so since I got my new welder I am planning to re-build a new bumper with swing out tire and jerry can holder. I am still in the plannins stage and debating a couple of plans. I am leaning to retaining the old plastic bumper in the planning as for one I hate throwing out something and since it is not cracked or anything I am thinking of just welding up the bracket on some new tubing and welding the swing out then bolting on the plastic bumper over this to retain a stock look and also improving the monut. also saving a little not having to buy extra flat plate. I also am a little reserved after looking at othe homemade bumpers in that I keep thinking that with a rear end collision that the metal bumpers would be pushed into the rear tires. where as I would not worry about this with the old plastic bumper. I also do not have the storage for the old bumper and am to lazy to try to sell it. Would like some thought in this from others

tie rod would be pretty easy - just buy some weld-in bungs from a company like Ballistic fab or Currie, and insert and fill the collar with weld. Then just thread the rod ends in and you're done. Summit machine probably is cheapest.

yes technically they are. I've never heard of anyone being called on it though. Just make sure to use safety washers.
