Point of forced induction is you want power when you push the pedal......turbo's must spool boost....supercharger's are automatically there.

Well, I just posted this in my build thread, but I figured I would share it here. I built a manual hatch strut for the driverside mounts, and had to work with it a little extra because the welded nut broke off the inside of the body. Since I lack a welder and what not, I took a different approach. The passengerside strut remains, and helps lift the hatch when I go to open it, and then I lock the manual strut. So far, works like a charm, and the trim didn't need to be cut or anything.
Can you pm me with directions and materials or do a writeup on this? Its a great idea and probly cheaper then buying new hatch struts!
