one of my storage ideas, its an old metal shelf from a walkin freezer (i dont have everything on it yet)



and i cant take credit for this one as i found it on here, but its the home soffet vents $1.98 each

 

No way I was looking at those vents at lowest, seems way cheaper than buying Louvres from a company. How was the install, easy?

 

toggle switches top 2 for the 4 KC lights up top front. bottom for KC lights rear.Trans temp gauge. opening for electric fan coming soon. A convertor mounted passanger side floor.

 

Yo, what's the switch to the left of the wiper blade?

 

Transmission power/comfort switch. Used on early XJs.

 

??? the 2 top toggles switches (each run 2 of the 4 lights i have on the top of my rig) trying not to overload the draw on the electrical system by using only the light i neded at night. if i need a little i light up 2, if i need a lot i light up all 4. the red toggle is so i don't forget i have the back lights on.

 

what year did this end? i have a 95

 

duh sorry, shuts down 4th gear for towing. i don't know when they stopped adding that feature. works great though. towed a trailer from El Paso TX to upstate NY. no problems.

 

ended in 1991 when they switched to the H.O. 4.0L engine. H.O.'s are permanently in power mode

 

It doesn't shut down 4th gear, it just changes the shift points. In power mode it waits for higher RPMs before shifting, when the engine is higher in the power band. In comfort mode it shifts sooner, theoretically making the shifts more comfortable.

I've heard many times though that you should leave it in "power" mode 24/7. Comfort mode will kill your gas mileage.
