Earlier this year i made this spare tire mount. Total cost was about $30 plus paint and lock. It mounts to the stock roof rails. I added a little xj personality to the top plate.

my 88 ranger went months with no dash at all haha i understand the feeling, and i start mine with a procomp remote starter in the glovebox,so if she stalls passenger can quick fire without me takin hands off shifter or wheelOriginally Posted by somethingclever
I use a spork... Na its impossible to take the dash off with it on. I took it off a while ago and never put it back on ..... Lazy I guess

its unwise to wheel alone, and its on a long cable if NEED be,it can be mounted (duct tape) to the shifter itself, its a pistol grip trigger.....i think u just gave me an awesome idea...i shall mull this mount over...possibly a threaded bracket..and its a sunpro not a procomp, early mornin typos

So I get partial credit if it works right... I'm so good I give good ideas to others with out even knowing it

Does glueing a travel mirror in place of where your drivers side mirror was count as homebrew?
