Ok, yeah, I think you might be right - wish we could see the other lights on too though.Originally Posted by XJ914
Well if I think what he did was put offroad light bars where the amber lights used to be and then moved the ambers in to the grill, it looks pretty cool. Nice way to keep a more stock and smooth look!

No longer have this Jeep, but here are some things I did,
My LED turn signals. Stock housing is still there I just cut out an oval an put these in. Bought from a truck stop. Don't remember exact price but for both lights, rubber molding and wiring it was under $80. Just spliced into the factory wires.

Always wanted to replace them with some thing like these

Did this after my foot was muddy and slipped on the pedals...
Ran some bolts through the pedals, my feet never slipped again.

When I first lifted it I added the drop for the transmission. This also lowers the exhaust. So this is what I did to raise the exhaust back up. I drilled out the exhaust mount bracket and flipped it on top of the transmission mount bracket.

This is where I mounted the CB. I used existing holes in a cross brace above the headliner. The handle is on a retractable cable so it stays out of the way when I didn't need it and can be pulled down when I did.

Very nice turn signals. In the process of doing same thing on my 93'. Have to make a box for them first. Did the LEDs work with no problem?Originally Posted by berettajeep

I really do love how that looks. Do you plan on ever relocating the amber lights? There's gotta be another place where they fit in. They seem out of place like that a little bit. What if you got an led strip and put it vertical like in the grill where the amber light is now?Originally Posted by tmac

Thanks, it's cool because from a distance you can't even tell then people get close and they're like, wait a minute... But yeah, I like the amber LEDs where they are, I don't mind the look. I thought about doing something a little less noticeable like a couple led strips in the grille as you suggested but where I live in NH your not supposed to change anything with the marker lights as an inspection item. I'm already running e code headlights with 100w/80w bulbs so I didn't want to push it. At least these 3/4" lights are DOT approved. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. These are the ones I used and they fit perfectly with a little work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310806396675...84.m1497.l2649Originally Posted by XJ914

Good idea man... you should get some metal tubing about the same diameter tubing as the holes, angle cut them and weld them so that you can see the gauges from the driver seat easier.Originally Posted by Petervaz1
Not much but cut a piece of metal up to hold my gauges cause all I have are dummy lightsAttachment 230056
