Wow......Just wow. Please do not drive that thing on the road. You must be slow or something. You must have a death wish. Do you understand death? You could easily cause it with that worthless POS trackbar. Seriously dont post STUPID DANGEROUS IDEAS ON THIS FORUM. If your too poor to build a jeep safely, DONT F****** BUILD IT. I honestly hope you dont hurt your children or anybody else. Your playing russian roulette with that trackbar, and your probably better off using a semi-auto pistol...

Im not kidding, keep your jeep off the road.

OP, A lot of members here have expressed concerns not to flame you or put you down for trying to save money. The members here are concerned for yours as well as the saftey of others around you.
From an engineers standpoint, the track bar recieves a lot of lateral shock and stress. The materials used and the quality of the welds will only hold for a short period of time before letting go. So in short, if it is holding, please order/buy a new adjustable track bar and be careful untill it arrives.

I just think a track bar isnt something you can or should just "whip up", or really make on your own without some serious tools and serious hardware. I mean you wouldnt make your own leaf springs out of scrap would you? Or how about wheels? I mean you've got a hammer, a few plates, and a welder.. why not just fab up you some homebrew wheels?

Im just saying, theres things you can make and things you should buy.. a trackbar is definitely something you should buy.
