so ive desided to make a roof rack pre runner style and
very interested to see how it comes out ill post picks later
whats your thoughts?

cant wait to see it! im wanting to build a roof rack for mine also, just still looking at ideas for what i want it to look like.

He's not being a dick, you post in the fab section and say your thinking about building a roof rack, good for you. Go build it and show us or ask a question about mounting it, tell us what your making it out of.

no i didnt lable like i should have and only had paint on my dads comp
its in the front the rear is a tire holder when i build it ill post more pics

You are going to want the front sloping the other way so its a wedge through the air, if not, it will be huge drag, big loss of mpgs

lol i got the 2.8 with 300k on the odometer not exactly the most fuel efficient
and itll all be open no blocks so to speak just a frame really

just trying to help out the users so they dont have to click a thousand different things just to see the pics. you make a thread, you post the pictures in the thread. its like saying, oh i built something and the pics are in my photobucket account. go find them.

I am anxious to see how tall it is with the tire slanted like that. Jeeps are top heavy as they are, I would keep the tire low. JMO

thank for the info but ive actually abandon the idea
but im still slappen my tire on it and axe up top using my stock rails
