Black Iron Pipe is very soft and that thin walled and very ductile fitting will fail almost immediately.

I don't want to read a thread about you being in an accident and getting hurt as a result...or hurting someone else.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THAT TRACKBAR!!!

The threads are what's going to fail. If you absolutely MUST go this route. Then I say you should at least take the load off the threads. Adjust it to the length you need and weld the sucker up completely. **** your going the cheap route why does it need to adjust.

And just out of curiosity if you're so broke what did you use to lift your jeep enough to need an adjustable track bar? Not tryna be an ***... just confused here.

If you must go this route don't use threaded pipe. Use some solid DOM or even HREW. When they cut the threads it weakens the pipe and as thin as that is when you weld it it's going to burn through, if it doesn't you didn't get it hot enough and it won't hold anyway. Use a piece at least a foot long so it'll take the stress and spread it out.

Saving money is one thing, but getting hurt, dieing, or hurting someone else for spare coin is just plain bad.

If you can't do it the right way then keep the rig parked untill you save up the coin,

Don't use it...looks dangerous lol And like everyone else said, if you wanna make it real cheap, why even bother going adjustable?
