You're rig is rad, your jeep isn't TOO far ahead of mine, but still awesome, so it keeps me motivated. I'm also broke all the time, but when I get the chances, I always do something. my favorite bumper out there!

I say you just need to run your arm down between the fans and the engine to turn it.

I'm also going to be building a hidden winch like this and I'm not a fan of big access holes in the bumper. Has anyone thought about using a push pull cable and remote lever kinda like a shifter? Shoot, might even mount it in the cab. My co pilots hate having to walk all the way back to the jeep just to re-engage the spool.

I was considering some sort of lever or push-pull switch. But the lever needs to rotate 180* between spool/engaged. So I'm drawing a blank on an effective way to achieve this.

So I might Be starting to over think things, but what about a 180* electric rotary solenoid? Or I could take the winch apart and see how it actually locks in internally. Might be simpler then that.
