thinking about making half doors. i want to make them like the wangler half doors and make a soft upper part to the door with the zipper window. does anyone have any pictures of there half doors so i can get some ideas

I never get tired of seeing those half doors. Those are one of the sickest sets I've seen.

Im glad you like them. They took me a long time but I had never used a welder before starting work on them. Ive made a few people doors since then and can now do it in 10-15 hours give or take a few.

i wish i lived closer to you. ill be making some this summer but i want to do something like the soft tops for the doors so if it rans or something i can protect the inside and not get wet

making pretty different i have already made one for my half doors and i'm use 1/4 steel rod and weld it together

I was thinking about picking up some spare doors in the summer to cut up since mine will be off anyway to repair the hinges. About how long did it take you guys to do these? And with yours 89eliminator, I would remove the window frame for a cleaner look, even though it probably adds a little structural integrity with it there. Just my opinion though. Good job, guys.

If you look at the last cherokee of the month, the guy has half doors with what your talking about. The covers just snap on like a leather bed cover for a truck.

the windows i'm making are more of a tj style window the worst part is going to sewing in the fabric and getting the plastic for the window
