I don't won't to spen the money on bw flares and I've seen alot of people use lawn edging, I cut my fenders and left the small lip that is angled out. I was wondering if anyone rolled that lip outward flat and cut lawn edging drilled holes and riveted the edging on, I think it could come out rather nice, then I wanted to tape off the lip and spray some black plastic coating? What y'all think

You are right it does look awesome the way it is but, depending on where a guy lives the Badgeflashers like to give tickets to guys with mud tires sticking out and no flares. The staters here on Whidbey Island have two favorite tickets to write. No fender flares and no mudflaps for rigs with oversized tires.

Thanks man, I'm in Louisiana I don't think I would get ticketed for no flares but my front tires stick out like 4 inches or so... And that would deff get me a ticket

not sure about Louisiana but im in southwest CO and no one cares about tires. i got 3" sticking out the front and about 2" in the back. and im far from some of the ones ive seen here. so i personly dont like front fenders, and depending on the rig some small rears i think look good. or you could just leave it all open.

Rolled front two fenders out... Going to drill holes and put lawn edging by riveting on, then seal and rhino line the flares next... Still need to figure out how I'm going to attach the flares in the back

ticket for no mud flaps? here you dont need fenders and you dont need mud flaps on a station wagon. (xj, bronco, blazer)

Ok so here is the front... I just sprayed the passenger side with the coating and keep in mind I'm still going to clean up the spray lines and spray black over this, but I rolled the fenders out drilled #30 rivet holes every 2 inches, trimmed lawn edging, then installed with a washer under rivet tail...
