Not a bad start. Make sure you prep your material before you weld it. Have you considered recessing your winch? I've noticed you aren't lifted very high, so your approach angle is going to suffer if you have it stick out a bunch.

I bought a 4" grinder and I have flapper disks to clean all the scale off and I do have the winch recessed a little not much though I'm trying to avoid cutting my grill but I will if I have to :-) if all goes well my friend is moving on to 6.5 long arm kit and he said I could have his 4.5 short arm if I do a little paint work for him so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

2 things.

1. I believe that he meant recessed as in completely behind behind the bumper. I'm not quite finished with my bumper yet but you can see where the fairlead will be mounted and I plan to install the winch on the back side of the bumper. You have to remove the factory crossmember where your tag is mounted to have enough room.

2. Please replace your headlights. "Angry Eyes" are so 1997.

Thanx man also I forgot to list my materials what I was using for steel I bought and 8' section of 2x6x3/16" wall box tubing a 3' section of 2x2x3/16" wall square tubing and 2'x4' section of 3/16" plate and because I'm incorporating my steering box bolts I bought a jcr steering box spacer which is 3/16" plate also so it should be nice and rugged

i would like measurements as you go along if you dont mind.i know once you start rolling its hard to note everything and snap pics.i built my rear bumper a couple months ago and i never welded before...now i love it..the front seems its going to be alittle more complicated.
