its not a tunable tip i have an original firestik and it say cut to tune any ideas?

Sell it to someone else, and get you a newer one with a tunable tip.... The oldies are awesome to have, my uncle had two of them on his old Nissan and I loved them, but he had one get smashed between his truck and something else, not too bad really... but was enough to mess up the tuning... (didn't know it was possible) but still an issue if you are going to be wheeling with this on tight trails...

No... with the old school ones you have to trim the end down to achieve the SWR you are needing... the only things that stink is, if you cut too much you are sort of screwed... so it is a patience thing trim only a little bit at a time, and once you achieve the proper SWR make sure you put the little cap back on the tip to cover the cut ant. or you will have issues later... trust me...
