i was just curious about this, i have a 1989 cherokee with a d35 rear, can a zj rear disk brake system bolt on to my axle. any help would be appreciated. i dont know how the zj brakes mount up, and as far as i can gather the drum brakes on my axle just bolt on with 4 bolts.
Believe it depends on the rear end. Try:

Also search here and NAXJA, I know a bunch of guys have done it.

i have an extra d 35 laying around and i can get almost any jeep axle for free so i was just curious if this is an option? can i take all the brake mounts, calipers, disks, and e-brake hook ups and put them on a d35 with drum brakes?
