why do you want hood vents? i wouldn't destroy a hood for just the look of vents. winter is coming, so my ish is running cold.

we had a really fugly 87 saab 900 coupe come into the shop yesterday for an emissions test, and i really liked the vents. every other jeep i see with hood vents, have huge rectangular vents.
wouldn't be anytime soon, i wanna pay it off first, before i start modifying it.

i hear lebaron vents work nicely.... idk, if it were me. Id get a super cobra jet scoop from a older mustang and cut a hole in the hood and use that S.O.B. thatd look interesting.

They're functional? What purpose would they serve?

those vents on the saab are for letting the smell of the mother in law out, while she nags from the backseat of the 2 door car your mid life crisis made you buy.

If I remember correctly That is the SPG version. basicly track ready, and those vents on the car pictured were routed down to cool the brakes. Although it has been 10 years since I have owned or driven or worked on a saab so I could be a little foggy.
