ok well i had a two hour delay in school due to wheather so i didnt have my class it got cancelled

so took the time to start some work today

me and my good buddy started on our stinger bumpers
mine on my 95 xj his on his 88 toyota truck

here are some pictures of our day

im the only one that knows how to weld so i did all the welding we got a buddy to make the bends and we worked out of the garage

 

Do you plan on any bracing or gussets and if that welder is a 120v with flux core wire I wouldn't rely on that stinger too much. Just out of curriosity why so tall.

 

did you come close to rolling over forward and get a little scared?

for the moment its fluxed core welded on there cuz it started to get late but im going to gusset and reinforce both and then go over all the welds with my stick welder

as for it being so tall we just decided to go all out and be obnoxious

and i used to have a ford ranger that i rolled both end over end and sideways so im planning on eventually exo caging the jeep just to be safe
