Default Diamond plate rear quarter panel protection

So i know its not worth anything with out pics. so i did a paint center mock up. So i am starting today. So was wondering if any of jeepers did anything like this. going from the back door and cutting the diamond around the flares to tail lamps. I am going cover the rear tail lamps.
Thinking about notch out the side of the rear bumper use 5/8 steel tubing to cover and protect the plastic lamps. also the tubing is to hold offroad parks flags

Here ya go, here's mine...a guy on this site named Detours made them. 1/8" diamond plate. I got my hands on them in a roundabout way lol...a gift from my boss, I guess he bought them a few years ago form detours usa for his xj and ended up selling it...idk if he is making them anymore, I know Or fab makes some.

Are you worried about water or mud collecting behind the panel and creating a rust problem?
