Great looking bumper! I've always hated the look of a tube bumper on a boxy XJ save a few, and this is one of them. All I would change is the color of it all... reminds me off tis craptastic team....Longsomethings....lol
The only thing I'd personally change on it is have the top bar closer to the front and have it angle back more for a better approach angle.
Normally I hate tube bumpers but this has inspired me to try building my own tube bumper instead of building/buying a solid beefy unit.

Here is my version of this bumper. I ran two 1/4 inch plates back on the unibody and then welded the tubing to it. Should hold up to a winch when I get one. Still not really done but this is where I am at now.

I'm still amazed by this bumper. It's so easy to build (For somebody with welding skills) and looks great. I have NEVER seen a tube bumper on an Xj I actually liked before this one. This wouldn't be the "ideal" bumper for my Xj, but if I found one cheap somewhere I'd definitely pick it up.
P.S. I wonder what it would look like plated with steel? Anybody up for it?

This is where I am at now with my version of this bumper. No winch yet. I think a guy could just plate the top between the 1/4 inch pieces and tubes and you would be fine, if that makes sense.
