I did the same thing - re-mounted stock flares after trimming. Here's mine.

Nice. I have a little gap I've got to work on and some cleaning up to do. I like yours. O think this is the way.to go.... over buying 500$ flares. And it almost looks stock. My laredo emblem fell off :-(

Thanks. I agree, not spending that much on flares. These are different from the norm anyways. It'll stand out in the sea of bare trimmed fenders and bushwackers. Tip: spray adhesive promoter on the flare before applying paint. I painted one flare with it and one without. The flare that doesn't have it is starting to show tiny cracks in the paint.

Not sure on that. You would prob need some older front flares as jeep got rid of the full-length that run to the bottom of the bumper.... didn't they?

Yes.... if you look at stock flares on the old cherokees they are hideously large so it works out well for us. I basically cut above the mounting points no folding yet... Next I have to cut the pinch seam and fold that!. I should be finishing Thursday. I will get lots of pics and.make a how to....

I'll look into it... the rear should work... ill do a write up if one hasn't been done. If anything you could go to the jy and get some early flares for the front. Stay tuned and I will show you with pics :+)

Lol... I like the fact that it looks close to stock but you can tell something been done... also the price factor. There is a Hahaha above the trim in front of the door. To take care of that I'm cutting the lip on the flare scraps and epoxying it on... the standing and painting. You will never know the difference.

Looks nice! Do you have any tips or anything that helped you just cut, measure, reapply, etc?
