I knew the air tank thing would get your attention...

First off i made this Bumper/ tire swing out.

The main bumper part is air tight and it is a portable air tank. Here is my fancy dice stem cover

The second this i made was this..

I was too cheap and i still had some time to make something else so i made a hitch pin real quick.

And then while i was waiting for the paint to dry i made some rice kripsy treats!!

And the finished product

I want to know what you think about my latest projects! I have worked hard, give me some feedback people.
Thanks for looking

I love that you threw the rice krispy treats in there. I was expecting some thing else fabed up then that hit. Made me laugh.

Aren't you afraid the roof rack will rip off?

I have made a similar air tank bumper for my YJ.

I would like to recommend that you drain it out, when using it on the road. In the unfortunate event that you are struck from behind, it might explode.

Also would recommend that you have some kind of experience in the welding of pressure vessels. Any welds should be at least two passes, one in & one over.

I have a drain valve on the bottom of the tank. I dont have it pressurized regularly. I only do it while wheeling

I think what they meant by it ripping off is it getting snagged while wheeling. If that rack gets snagged, the thin sheet metal (Your roof) is most likely going to rip apart like a tin can, leaving you with a major leak/hole/security loop hole/whatever you want to call it.

As for your builds, I like low key bumpers on a Cherokee, but that just looks like a 2x4 hunk of steel; it needs a little bit of flash. I would have angled the bottom corners. That would also increase departure angles.
