Default Bypass power features

Hey guys, I have a '92 Cherokee and am trying to make quick disco doors, and when I took my drivers side door off (after disconnecting the wires), all of my other power windows stopped working while it was disconnected. Could anybody help me out with this? Is there a way to bypass the power features? I'm trying to make my disconnect doors as plain and simple as possible. Thanks in advance!

All I did was cut the wires and put the spade connectors on mine. That way I just had to pull apart the wires each time I take the doors off

If you want to keep using your power windows/door locks with your front doors removed. That way you can roll down your power rear door windows. What I would do is get another spare front door panel driverside switch module from the junk yard and make some long wires for it with the plug at the end and when you remove your door just pull out the extra switch module and plug it up so you can still use your rear windows/door locks. And when your done just unplug it and throw it back in the glove box or center console.

Originally I had thought of doing something like this ^^ But then ended up taking my rear doors off too.. so usually they're all off or they're all on lol

I have my drivers side controls relocated under the dash below the steering wheel . Doors come off and power/locks/window wires are fitted with plugs for easy disconnect.
Let me know if you want pics. it works well and is much tidier then a loose control box.
With the front doors off i still have fully fuctioning power locks and windows in rear.
