i would try to figure a way to tie the ends of the rocker protection into the the frame the end might allo it to bend

I'm planning on taking 1x1 on and welding it to the end of the tire side of the rocker protection, welding a plate to the frame end of the 1x1, and then bolting it to the frame

Theres not a lot of cutting involved this way ,im planning on keeping insert fu;ll rectangle just cut out enough for frame inserts to be welded in ....http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/h...frame-1180759/

Hey i actually used a picture from that thread as kind of a building basis for me bumper! I pondered going inside the frame rails like that, I just didnt understand how it worked at the time I started.. But now that I've messed around with the JCR nutstrip and my bumper, if I make another bumper that's how I'd do it

Nice welds. What kind of welder are you using.. Im trying to get a nice one cuz all my **** looks like bubble gum no matter who the welder is haha

I'm thinking black to match the rest of the jeep, but then the other day I was contemplating red to match by brake lines and. Then when I redo my front bumper I'd do that red, and my sliders red. What do y'all think of that?

I have a 220 millermatic 250. I love it, I've never ever had any issues with it!! I have 75/25 argon/oxygen right now and run it at about 18 psi.

You can see it in the background of one of the pictures I believe
