I foun it much simpler to add tabs that u can drill and tap your own holes. I personally used self tapping bolts

That's a good idea, so many different lights out there, a guy can get the ones he wants and make um the way he wants.

Just don't do round light enclosure (that kinda mock the early second gen Durango....thats what I'm doing (you got me thinking too much)!

here is mine 16 guage steel i just made i riveted them onto the fender and used harbor freight leds and stock mounting hole only thing mine are not welded and hand bent with a mallet and my top corners stick out i will be making more for a few friends once i get a welder 97-01 taillight boxes-1201121813a95264742.jpg

NEW UPDATE! First off these are made with 11 gauge steel and here's a set with the cut corners! Already have an order! Still have 2 sets available! Willing to make more tho!!!

really want a set of these... I hate that JCR doesn't do just light boxes anymore. there whole panel they offer is insanely priced. I will buy my own welder for that lol.

looks to be a decent sized gap between the light and hatch?...

Well it all depends on how you mount your holes. Ps I have one set laying around I'm willing to sell for cheaper If anyone is interested!

can you get a picture of it on there flush with the side to the body from the back to see how much gap between the hatch there actually is
