We made up 2x6 rock sliders,
welded 1.5" angle to the new INNER rockers for the 2x6 to rest on.
I have one of the sliders mocked up (not welded yet.
It is tight against the inner rocker the whole length.
The slider sticks out approx. 1/2" more at the front as opposed to the rear.
I do not see this in pictures of other peoples 2x6 sliders??
How are others dealing with this??

It's because the body is narrower up front. Both my buddy's and my own jeep were like that. Used several welding clamps to make everything as tight as possible and welded it up. Going on 2 years now it no issues. Make sure you run supports to your uniframe to tie it all together, I suggest stiffeners too.

Does it look "funny" once the doors are on? is it noticeable?
Any Pictures with the doors on?
It looks really bad to me right now.

You forget about it easily. I forgot honestly. Here is a good angle at them. If you look for it you can see that the front sticks out more.

I ended up cutting my down longwise, welding some 2" band onto them to make them "Taper" so they have a even reveal.

I've not found anything worth buying that comes off the one size fits all cookie sheet

Evan,
Yup, this project is making me think and making me refine my skills past being a "Grinder" :)
