https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...-poser-pic.jpg https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...14-got-mud.jpg https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...eep-muddin.jpg 1991 base model XJ 2 door 4.0L high output, AX15, NP231. D30 non vac disco front/D35 rear (for now..) still running 3.07 ratios, but have a D30 with 3.73's, I have a 99 xj front axle I'll be using the shafts out of so it will have the larger Ujoints in the 3.73 axle, currently looking for a explorer 8.8 for the rear. Sense this was a base model, it was VERY basic. But came with vynal flooring rather the carpet, which is nice. I have swapped in reclining driver/passenger seats, rare vented side windows, tilt steering collum, ran speaker wires to the rear of the xj. Running 31x10.5 MT's on steelie rims, SS braided clutch line replaced the junk factory plastic one. 2" shackles in the rear, front and rear fenders are cut/folded. removed rear sway bar. Pioneer head unit, MTX 5.25 door speakers, Rockford fosgate prime 6x9 rear speakers, JL 500/1 amp pushing a rockford fosgate punch Z 10" in sealed box. Parts I have but have not installed yet, new RE LCA's, RE 4.5 coils, but I think I will be trading them for some 3" coils. 217k miles and running strong as ever. :head: |

K, Go.

Voted for the Go Fast cause its different and cool. Did a lot of autocross myself in my younger days which helps and its red white and blue!
|
Went with 94XJ, thats the most modded....
|
Didn't think we were going to have 5 entries this month lol. Good group of rigs here though. Going fast is something pretty cool and kinda new that's catching on, but going anywhere is more fun :)

I know lol I have a lot more junk installed now compared to when I entered |
Gotta give it to 94xj. I love the race rig, especially the paint, but the history decided my vote. Fixing up an old car that your parents bought new and giving it a second life is just plain American :D
|
Wills got my vote. The back story on his rig beats all. And it's the nicest/most built rig in the lineup.
