Wrangler compatible years
Hi, my buddies got a 97 Wrangler and occasionally the switch for the windshield wipers doesn't feel like working. New its ridiculously expensive so I'm gonna see if I can't find one in a jy somewhere. Just wanna know what other years I'd be able to pull it from? Thanks

not sure about the wiper switch, but in 2003 they did a big change in the tj's.
my 99tj does the same thing, i don't think it's the switch tho, cause if i get out and force the wiper arm a bit with the switch on, it will start up again.
it doesn't happen often, so i'm just gonna live with it for now till i find a cheap wiper motor somewhere.
besides, with the air bag in the steering wheel, i think it would be a pretty difficult job to do.
the wifey's 97 doesn't have this problem.

Well he just said it was the switch and when it happened to me playing with the switch eventually fixed it, I'll have him try and move the wiper next time and see about that though. True getting it out might be a PITA, but I'll have time over the summer lol.
