so my buddy has a 99 chev shortbed jacked up 9" with 38"s under it its a sweet damn truck but it had the gay little vortec 4.3 and a 5 speed so its doggy as hell

we tossed around the idea of dropping in a 350 but then we where like no everyone does that and we are super bored so heres what we got started on our project so far.

bought a used 4.3 block for 50 bucks, pulled it all apart and had crank turned 10 under and got 10 over mains n rods. bored cyls 10 over, and we are in teh process of ordering pistons, rings, cam, lifters, rockers, aluminum heads...all the goodies. called comp today and got a perfect cam they picked out for us a really heavy one but one that can still work with the stock converter.

ill have more specs in the next few days to post like cam lift and piston size and all that good ****. im excited to get all the stuff and start buildin this som *****. plan is to see how far we can go with a 4.3 without spending too much, its gonna be sweet!
