Just picked up a ford ranger truck bed trailer. I know these things are not ideal for an offroad trailer but I think I can make something of it.

Yeah I was checking that out. Basicly we downsized to the jeep and we dont have room for our gear me and the wife and the two kids. we had a vw vanagon before with a full safari rack. So I think a trailer is in order. I may end up bobbing the back of it eventually to give it better angles. And a slight lift. But I think it will haul everything we need for a week of camping.

 

They work great. Add larger tires and wheels (same 5 X 4.5 bolt pattern as XJ's), better springs, and it'll follow you just about anywhere.

 

Yeah I am getting new tires and wheels for my xj So im saving two of my current tires and wheels for the trailer and I will have two left over for spares.
