I have a 1997 Suburban K2500 with a 454 vortec and 245k on the clock. New Tranny, rebuilt the locker in the 14FF, new front axle (pinion bearing went out and melted housing), new transfer case and rebuilt the upper end of the motor. Now it runs like it's brand new, but in that case, it mostly is.
