Default TJ and wheels question.

Trying to buy a TJ. Want to throw a set of 17" Rubicon rims on it, anyone know max tire size and if I need to lift this (stock) TJ to make it work with these wheels?

actual Jeep I'm trying to pick up.

17s are jk wheels and they are the wrong bolt pattern. The tjs are 16s and bolt right on.And blocking a license plate in a photo is silly to me.Daily how many people see the license plate on your car?

the jk rubicon wheels are about a 33, so if you just add a 2 inch spacer lift, you can fit them and wheel it with sway bars still connected.
add a 1 or 2 inch body lift and pull the sway bar links to wheel it.

unless you're just gonna put 30 inch rubber on the jk 17 inch wheels...
